Eliott Michal, hailing from the idyllic French island in the Indian Ocean, Réunion, began his sailing journey in 2002 with the Optimist class, a passion he pursued until 2010. At the age of 16, he embarked on a new adventure in France, honing his skills in the L20 class until 2015. Starting in 2016 and continuing until 2022, Eliott navigated the waters of Marseille as part of the L70 class. Alongside his Olympic aspirations, he initiated a professional sailor career, captaining boats ranging from 30 to 70 feet in racing competitions, now serving as his primary focus.
