The SSL Gold Cup team pass on huge congratulations to SSL Team France member Jean-Baptiste Bernaz who was crowned Sailor of the Year 2022 by the Fédération Française de Voile during their ‘Marin de l’Année’ awards ceremony held on Friday.
Bernaz has had a superb 2022 in the ILCA 7 class, winning both the Mediterranean Games held in Oran, Algeria, and the Men’s World Championship held at Riviera Nayarit, Mexico.
It is fantastic to see France recognise one of their top inshore sailors when their main sailing stars are in the offshore world!
